The recent patch really shook things up, especially with the changes to the Void element mechanics. I’ve been grinding the new raid boss for the last few days, and it feels like the pure DPS burst strats aren't working as well as they used to. The boss has way too much sustain if you don't bring reliable heal reduction.
I spent a few hours yesterday trying to optimize my setup because my usual go-to units were getting wiped out in phase two. I realized I needed to swap out my main tank for someone with better utility. After going through the Dragon Traveler Characters breakdown to look at specific passive skills, I noticed that some of the overlooked 4-star supports actually provide better synergy for this rotation than the standard 5-star units we’ve been using for months.
It’s interesting to see how the community perception is changing, too. A month ago, speed teams were everything, but now sustain seems to be making a comeback. If you look at the updated Dragon Traveler Tier List, you can see that a lot of the glass cannon units have slipped down a rank, while units that offer defense breaks and crowd control are creeping up into the S-tier.
I’m curious if you guys are sticking to the old meta or if you’ve started investing resources into these control-heavy teams. The RNG on artifact drops is still a pain, so I’m hesitant to fully commit to a new build unless it’s absolutely necessary for the endgame content.
